The Touch of An Infinite Mystery

“The touch of an infinite mystery
passes over the trivial and the familiar,
making it break out into ineffable music…

The trees, the stars, and the blue hills
ache with a meaning
which can never be uttered in words.”

Rabindranath Tagore

Can We Just Lie Down.....

"Can we just lie down,
feel the earth spin beneath us
and breathe together?"

Happiness Is......

“Happiness is not a brilliant climax
to years of grim struggle and anxiety.

It is a long succession of little decisions
simply to be happy in the moment.”

Sailing Through The Light

The mind, this globe of awareness,

is a starry universe that when you push off with your foot,

a thousand new roads become clear,

as you yourself do at dawn, sailing through the light.

Rumi

This Is Not A Caravan Of Despair.

Come, whoever you are!
Wanderer, worshipper, lover of leaving.

This is not a caravan of despair.

It doesn't matter if you've broken your vow a thousand times,
still and yet again come!

Rumi

She Was Breathing Deeply....

"She was breathing deeply, she forgot the cold, the weight of beings, the insane or static life, the long anguish of living or dying. After so many years running from fear, fleeing crazily, uselessly, she was finally coming to a halt.

At the same time she seemed to be recovering her roots, and the sap rose anew in her body, which was no longer trembling. Pressing her whole belly against the parapet, leaning toward the wheeling sky, she was only waiting for her pounding heart to settle down, and for the silence to form in her.

The last constellations of stars fell in bunches a little lower on the horizon of the desert, and stood motionless. Then, with an unbearable sweetness, the waters of the night began to fill her, submerging the cold, rising gradually to the center of her being, and overflowing wave upon wave to her moaning mouth.

A moment later, the whole sky stretched out above her as she lay with her back against the cold earth."

Breath of Kindness

“Oh, the comfort, the inexpressible comfort

of feeling safe with a person,

having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words,

but pouring them all out, just as they are,

chaff and grain together,

certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them,

keep what is worth keeping,

and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away.”

George Eliot

“Everybody is a contradiction of themselves
and not only is that not a problem,
it’s a beautiful thing.

People should be contradictions.

If you’re not, it means you’re not evolving
or becoming a better person.

We talked about, as people, just about trying
and becoming a better person.
It comes through in the music.

It’s just unapologetic:
Don’t apologize for being whoever you are,
whoever you are.”

~ Justin Vernon

But let there be spaces in your togetherness
and let the winds of the heavens dance between you.
Love one another but make not a bond of love:
let it rather be a moving sea
between the shores of your souls.

"I become a waterwheel,

turning and tasting you,

as long as water moves."

When you move to the heart
and bring your awareness there,
again a new surprise...
all that is good grows,
and all that is bad starts disappearing.

Love grows, hate disappears,
compassion grows, anger disappears,
sharing grows, greed disappears.

Fear and guilt are your only enemies.

Love and awareness are your true friends.

Do not confuse one with the other,

for one will kill you,

while the other gives you life.

Neale Donald Walsch

In your light I learn how to love
In your beauty, how to make poems

You dance inside my chest,
where no one sees you

but sometimes I do,
and that sight becomes this art...

~ Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi

Someone may have stolen your dream
when it was young and fresh
and you were innocent.

Anger is natural.
Grief is appropriate.

Healing is mandatory.
Restoration is possible.

Let the rain kiss you.

Let the rain beat upon your head
with silver liquid drops.

Let the rain sing you a lullaby.

Once we discover that love is the way it is,
we are no longer threatened
by the possibility of the absence of love,

because we recognize
that the absence of love
is no more than an
illusion.

"For it was not into my ear you whispered,
but into my heart.

It was not my lips you kissed,
but my soul."

I think winging it
becomes a whole lot
more fun
when we learn
to trust ourselves
and make choices
straight from the heart :)

When anger comes you are not to do anything;
just sit silently and watch it.

Don't be against it, don't be for it.
Don't cooperate with it, don't repress it.

Just watch it,
be patient,
just see what happens;
let it rise.

Remember one thing:
don't do anything in the moment of anger - wait.

Just give it a little time and wait and you will be surprised.

And one day you will understand that if you can wait enough,

It is a wheel;
it is moving on its own
 you are in a hurry.

Just as night becomes day if you can wait a little,
in the same way,
anger becomes compassion if you can wait a little.

The same energy
just patience has to be added to it,
nothing else.

You try it.

OSHO
